Resume

Fu Bo, born in 1990, is an associate professor and doctoral supervisor at Chang'an University. He has been selected for the Shaanxi Provincial Young Science and Technology Nova Program, the Shaanxi University Outstanding Young Talent Support Plan, the Shaanxi Association for Science and Technology Young Talent Support Program, and the Chang'an Scholar Talent Program as a Class I Young Academic Backbone. He holds a Ph.D. from Tongji University and was a joint Ph.D. student at Lehigh University. He serves as a member of the Youth Committee for Infrastructure Seismic Disaster Prevention and Mitigation of the Seismological Society of China, a member of the Academic Committee of the Symposium on Hybrid Simulation for Engineering Structures, and an editorial board member/youth editorial board member for five domestic and international academic journals including Scientific Reports, and a peer reviewer for 62 domestic and international academic journals including the Journal of Structural Engineering. His research primarily focuses on structural vibration control and seismic resistance. He has published over 80 academic papers in domestic and international journals such as Mechanical Systems and Signal Processing and the Journal of Building Structures, with more than 60 indexed in SCI. He has received the JAABE Journal Annual Best Paper Award jointly issued by the architectural institutes of China, Japan, and South Korea, as well as the Huixian Earthquake Engineering Excellent Academic Conference Paper Award. He holds 36 authorized national invention patents (26 as the first inventor). He has received numerous honors and awards, including the First Prize of the China Steel Structure Association Science and Technology Progress Award, the First Prize of the Shaanxi Provincial Higher Education Institutions Science and Technology Award, the First Prize of the Shaanxi Civil Engineering Science and Technology Progress Award, the Second Prize of the Shaanxi Higher Education Institutions Science and Technology Research Excellent Achievement Award, the Liu Huixian Earthquake Engineering Scholarship, the Finalist Award for the 12th China College Students of the Year, the Outstanding Graduate Student of Shanghai, the Outstanding Communist Party Member of the Shanghai Education and Health Work System Party Committee, and the Tongji University Highest Honor Pursuit of Excellence Award. He has led more than ten research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China (General/Youth Program), the Shaanxi Provincial Natural Science Foundation, open funds from national/ministry/provincial key laboratories, and the Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities.
