Xin Qi, Ph.D, Associate Professor, Master Supervisor(admission major: vehicle application engineering,transportation).He received the B.S., M.S. and Ph.D.degrees in control theory and engineering from the Northwestern Polytechnical University, in 2009, 2012 and 2016, respectively. He has been a visting scholar in Lyles School of Civil Engineering, Purdue University from 2019 to 2020. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Mobility Engineering,  School of Automobile, Chang'an University. His research interests include trajectory planning and control of autonomous and connected vehicle, and operation control of connected bus.

Operation control of connected bus: Modeling bus bunching and bus queuing, design counter-mesures to mitigate bunching and queuing.
