Resume

Weibao Zou received the M.Sc. degree in navigation & control in 1997, the Ph.D. degree in navigation, guidance & control in 2000, both from Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi’an, China, and the Ph.D. degree in remote sensing from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong, China, in 2004.

He is with the College of Geology Engineering and Geomatics, Chang’an University, Xi’an, China as an Associate Professor. There are thirty six papers published in journals or conferences of internationally reputed standard. Eleven of them are SCI cited journals and twelve cited by EI. His research areas include multispectral satellite imagery classification, remote sensing image processing and co-registration; Digital Elevation Models (DEM) generated by Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR) images; GIS; integrated navigation system, multi-sensors data fusion; Inertial Navigation System (INS), Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), Global Position System (GPS), and digital map; image processing & classification using Neural Network and Wavelet Analysis; pattern recognition; features extraction from images with wavelet analysis and ICA; Deep learning.
