  2007年7月-2011年7月，在西北大学地质学系攻读资源勘查工程学士学位；

  2011年9月-2014年7月，在西北大学地质学系攻读矿物学、岩石学、矿床学硕士研究生学位；

  2016年9月-2019年7月，在西北大学地质学系攻读矿物学、岩石学、矿床学博士研究生学位；

周海，男，2019年7月入职长安大学地球科学与资源学院，副教授，硕士研究生导师。目前研究领域为造山带地质，主要针对中亚造山带南缘古生代地质演化。目前围绕古亚洲洋晚期俯冲及其结束过程和动力学机制展开研究工作。已在Science Bulletin,GSA bulletin,Gondwana Research, Lithos,Geological Journal等SCI杂志以第一作者或通讯作者发表高质量论文10余篇。

2023年1月份入选《西北地质》杂志首届青年编委。

岩石大地构造，增生造山作用。中亚造山带古生代构造演化。

目前，开授本科课程《地球科学概论》、《岩浆岩岩石学》、《矿物学与岩石学基础》等课程。

陕西省教育厅，青年项目，2020JQ-354，内蒙古四子王旗地区晚古生代岩浆岩年代学及地球化学研究，2020-01至2021-12，3万，结题，主持；
