  • Education experience: In July 1983, he graduated from the Xi'an Institute of Geology and majored in geological and mineral surveying with a bachelor's degree in engineering;

    In July 1989, he obtained a master of science degree in structural geology from the former Xi'an Institute of Geology;

    In November 2001, he obtained a Doctor of Science degree in Structural Geology from the Department of Geology, Northwest University.

Resume

Pei Xianzhi, male, born in 1963. Ph.D. (2001), Professor (1999), Doctoral Supervisor (2002). In recent years, he has hosted more than 20 scientific research projects, including 4 National Natural Science Foundation projects, 1 scientific and technological project of the Ministry of Education, and 8 geological survey projects of the China Geological Survey. Published more than 198 papers in public. Under the first-level discipline of geology, tectonic geology and mineralogy, petrology and mineralogy specialize in enrolling doctoral students and master students.

Research

He has long been engaged in teaching and scientific research on structural geology and geotectonics, regional geology, orogenic belt geology and dynamics, basin structure, and rock tectonic structure. The research team led by them has gradually formed the advantages of basic geological survey and metallogenic geological background research in the central orogenic system (the central and western section) and its neighboring areas based on the regional mapping and mapping work and relying on the National Natural Science Foundation and other projects.

Research project

The regional structure and metallogenic geological background, orogenic belt geology, orogenic belt geology, precambrian geology, and other important structures in the northwest of the East Qinling Mountains, the West Qinling Mountains, the northern margin of the Yangtze Block, North Qilian, East Kunlun, and West Kunlun Research work on mineralization and rocky geotectonics has achieved outstanding results. He has presided over more than 20 scientific research projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Geological Survey of the China Geological Survey, the Ministry of Education's scientific research, and the doctoral fund project of universities.

Technological Achievements

In 1996, it was awarded the Special Excellent Picture Award by the Ministry of Geology and Mineral Resources;
In 1998, he won 2 second prizes of the survey achievements of the Ministry of Land and Resources;
In 2014, he won one second prize of China Geological Survey Achievement Award (ranked first).
