Resume

Yongjie Wang is an associate professor and doctoral supervisor in the field of transportation engineering. He obtained his PhD from Tianjin University and completed his postdoctoral research at the University of Leeds. Currently, he is employed by the Department of Transportation Engineering and the Institute of Transportation System Organization and Control as a Chang'an Young Scholar.

His research focuses on theoretical studies of traffic safety, traffic order, and traffic behavior, striving to reveal the opposition and unity between chaotic traffic and orderly traffic, as well as achieve digitalization and intelligent management of urban transportation. He has published over 30 papers in SSCI, SCI, CSSCI, and management A-level journals recognized by the Management Science Division of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has also led research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Ministry of Education's Humanities and Social Sciences Foundation, and the Natural Science Foundation of Shaanxi Province, as well as participated in multiple European Union research projects and National Social Science Foundation projects. He has received awards such as the Second and Third Prize for Outstanding Achievements in Humanities and Social Sciences Research in Shaanxi Higher Education Institutions, and recognition as an excellent class advisor and outstanding thesis advisor at Chang'an University. Additionally, he has guided his students to win the gold award for innovation and entrepreneurship. His current research methods include reinforcement learning, deep learning, computer vision, natural language processing, empirical research, and simulation experiments.
