Dr. Lei Tang is currently vice director of the department of Internet of Things, School of Information Engineering, Chang'an University, P. R. China. She received her B.Eng, M.Eng and Ph.D. degree of Engineering in computer science and technology in 2005, 2008 and 2012 respectively from the Northwestern Polytechnical University.  She has been has been a visiting researcher  at the Mannheim University, Germany from Dec. 2009 to Dec. 2010. She has also served as PC member for a number of conferences, e.g., UIC, GPC, etc. 

Dr. Tang has published around 40 scientific papers in refereed journals and conferences, e.g., IEEE TITS, ACM TKDD, UIC, PerCom, etc. His research interests cover  pervasive computing, deep learning, autonomous vehicle, personalization in transportation. Lei Tang is a member of IEEE, ACM and CCF Pervasive Computing Technical Committee. She received the Outstanding Young Scholars in ShaanXi  in 2018.
