Resume

Xian-Feng Xu, was born in March 1982. He received the B.E. degree from Harbin Engineering University, Harbin, China, in 2004 and the Ph.D. degree in signal processing from Xidian University, Xi’an, China, in 2010. From 2017 to 2018, He was a visiting scholar in University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He has been with the School of Electronic & Control Engineering, Chang'an University, Xi’an, China, as a Lecturer from 2010 to 2013, and as an associate professor from 2013 to 2024, , and as a professor from 2024 until now. He is also a doctoral supervisor and the Deputy Dean of the School of Energy and Electrical Engineering. His research interests include Integration of Transportation and Energy, New Power System.

     I have done some research on Blind source separation, Independent Component Analysis,and some topics on Array Signal Processing. Blind source separation (BSS) aims to estimate the source signals, i.e. to demix the mixtures captured by a number of sensors, without knowledge about the actual sources or the mixing procedure. In the past two decades, BSS has received much attention in various fields, such as speech and audio processing, wireless communication, image recognition and enhancement, data analysis, machine fault diagnosis, and biomedical signal processing, etc. I also pay interest in Deep Learning and its applications in electricity load prediction and intelligent traffic.
