ResumeDr. Bo Wang, born in Henan Province in 1985, is a professor of Chang'an University, doctoral supervisor. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from Xi’an University of Architecture & Technology in 2013 and Tokyo Metropolitan University in 2016, respectively. He has a wide range of research interests in the field of earthquake engineering, such as strong ground motion characteristics, seismic analysis and design theory, seismic resilience, high-performance seismic structure, seismic strengthening, etc. He has presided over 10 research projects, including two projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published 5 books and more than 60 academic papers. His work has been recognized by several awards, mainly including the first prize of Science and Technology Award of Shaanxi Province, the first prize of Science and Technology Award of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, the second prize of Science and Technology Award of Shaanxi Province, the second prize of Higher Education Teaching Achievement Award of Shaanxi Province, the first prize of the 5th National Teaching Competition for Young Teachers on Concrete Structures, etc. In 2020, he was honored as a Young Science and Technology Star of Shaanxi Province.
