Xuemin Sui, female, born in 1981 in Dongying, Shandong, Ph.D. in Engineering, postdoctoral fellow, associate professor, master's supervisor, visiting scholar of Purdue University in the United States, responsible professor of discipline construction at Chang'an University, and director of the Institute of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Engineering. In 2009, graduated with a doctoral degree in Heating, Gas Supply, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Engineering from Tongji University. In the same year, joined the Department of Building Environment and Energy Application Engineering of Chang'an University as a teacher; In 2013, appointed as a master's supervisor; Promoted to associate professor in 2014; From December 2016 to January 2018, worked as a visiting scholar at Purdue University in the United States.

Mainly engaged in research related to HVAC and building energy-saving. Presided over the National Natural Science Foundation of China Youth Project, China Postdoctoral Fund Special Funding Project, China Postdoctoral Fund General Project, Shaanxi Provincial Natural Science Foundation General Project, Shaanxi Provincial Key Research and Development Program, Shaanxi Provincial Natural Science Foundation Youth Project, Shaanxi Provincial Postdoctoral Fund Project, Shaanxi Provincial Construction Science and Technology Project, Western Green Building State Key Laboratory Open Fund Project 19 vertical scientific research projects such as construction technology projects in Xi'an; Hosted 8 horizontal scientific research projects such as technical services. Published over 60 papers in relevant fields, including 22 papers included in SCI/EI and 2 papers included in ISTP. Participated in the compilation of 4 works and 4 provincial-level industry standards. Authorized 23 patents and 2 software copyrights. Received one second prize of the Shaanxi Higher Education Science and Technology Award (2019) and one Xi'an Excellent Science and Technology Research Achievement Award (2021).
