Resume

Wenchao Li completed his PhD in the School of Civil Engineering at Chang'an University. In 2014-2015, he was awarded the CSC scholarship and spent a year as a visiting PhD research student in the Department of Civil and Structural Engineering at the University of Sheffield.

Currently, Wenchao Li is an associate professor and serves as a master's supervisor in the School of Civil Engineering at Chang'an University.

Wenchao Li's primary research focus is on the investigation of mechanical properties of high-strength lightweight metallic materials and the development of multiaxial constitutive models, along with their numerical implementation algorithms.

His research efforts in these areas have resulted in some scientific articles published in well-regarded international peer-reviewed scientific journals, such as Thin-Walled Structures, International Journal of Solids and Structures, Engineering Failure Analysis, and Journal of Structural Steel Research. He is currently the principal investigator for a Chinese National Natural Science Foundation project and a Natural Science Foundation program of Shaanxi Province.
