Biography:

Xiang-fei Lü was born in Xi’An, China. She is currently professor of engineering and master instructor of chemical engineering and technology at Chang’An University. At the same time, she is editorial board member of Chinese journal Applied Chemical Engineering. She received her B.Sc. and Master degrees from Xi dian University, and Ph.D. degree from Northwest University in China. She was also a post-doctoral fellow at Chang’An University from 2013 through 2017. From 2015 to 2016, she carried out post-doctoral research at University of Salento, offered by China Scholarship Council, worked with Professor Giuseppe Mele. From 2018 through 2020, she was a post-doctoral fellow at CCCC First Highway Consultants Co. LTD, worked with Professor of Engineering Yong-guo Zhao. From 2011 to 2013, she was a professor at the Shaanxi University of Science and Technology, and then moved to a full professor of engineering in the ChangAn University. Her research mainly focus on green extraction of precious metals from electronic waste, porphyrin-based photocatalysis and chemical analysis of loess. Until now, she published more than fifty papers, such as catalysis today, Journal of Applied surface science, Scientific Reports, Appl.Organ.Chem., and chapter 18 Applications of TiO2 in sensor devices in Book Titanium Dioxide (TiO2) and its Applications. She has completed more than twenty projects and three international cooperation projects. She has been maintain cooperative relations with research groups in many countries, such as Politecnico di Milano, and Università degli Salento. She has mentored over 10 graduate students. Among these student, two students have studied abroad in Italy until 2023.
