Resume

Focused on research in the fields of solid waste treatment and disposal, resource utilization, deep geological storage of low-carbon technologies, and their applications. As the leader of the Shaanxi Province Geological Carbon Storage Technology Research Innovation Team, continuous efforts have been made in studying geological storage technology systems, with engineering practice experience and research foundations related to geological storage in the Ordos Basin. The team has led one sub-project of the National Science and Technology Major Projects, one National Natural Science Foundation of China Youth Fund Project, one Shaanxi Province Innovation Talent Promotion Plan - Science and Technology Innovation Team project, one Shaanxi Province Key R&D Program Qin Chuang Yuan General Window Four Chain Integration project, two Shaanxi Province Natural Science Basic Research projects, one Xinjiang Science and Technology Support for Xinjiang project, two Central University projects, one Shaanxi Province Key Laboratory of Mineral Resources Exploration and Comprehensive Utilization project, and several other horizontal projects. More than 20 articles have been published as the first author or corresponding author.

Research

The research primarily focuses on the key theme of solid waste valorization for energy recovery - carbon reduction - deep geological sequestration within the field of environmental engineering. The specific research directions are as follows:

  1. Clean energy conversion of organic solid waste

  2. Mechanistic study of modified biochar in carbon mitigation and soil-groundwater remediation

  3. Deep geological sequestration technologies for high-salinity coal mine wastewater

  4. Advanced monitoring technologies for deep geological CO2 sequestration
