Dr. Jingfeng Zhang was born in Xi’an, Shaanxi Province in 1989. He received both his B.E and Ph.D degrees from Southwest Jiaotong University. Since August 2016, he has joined the Department of Bridge Engineering of Chang’an University.Since January 2020, he has served as associate professor and Ph.D. supervisor in Chang’an University.

 His research interests mainly focus on vessel-bridge collision dynamic analysis, progressive collapse analysis of bridge structure, development of bridge anti-collision facility and impact analysis of deteriorating concrete bridge, which cover a wide range of engineering issues regarding the evaluation of structure impact performance. He has published over 30 journal papers, registered/applied 14 patents and claimed 6 software copyrights.
