ResumeDr. Zhao is an associate professor in Geotechnical Engineering in Chang'an University. Dr. Zhao got his Ph.D. degree at Tongji University in the year 2019. He mainly focuses on the design theory and durability of underground structures such as piles and tunnels. Especially the bearing capacity and durability of concrete structures in sulfate, magnesium or chloride-rich areas. He also studies the properties of problematic soils such as the dispersivity of soil and the corresponding modification methods. He got 21 papers published, mostly indexed by SCI or EI, in the journals such as 《Construction and Building Materials》,《Advances in Cement Research》,《Journal of Tongji University》,《Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University》,《Chinese Journal of Geotechnical Engineering》. He also got more than 20 patents applied and authorized in China.
