Xiao-Jian Xu, associate professor of pavement engineering in Chang’an university, engages in the study of properties and applications of micro-/nano materials, multi-functional composite structures and the mechanics of plates and shells. The research fields include but not limit to computational mechanics, mechanics of solids and computational mathematics.
