Personal profile:

      Dr. Yuqin Ma is a associate professor, doctoral supervisor  &  Master Tutor, and a post doctoral researcher of Mechanical Engineering at the School of construction machinery in Chang’an University, Xi’an, China. He earned his Ph.D. degree at Mechanical manufacturing and its automation in Northwestern Polytechnical University (NWPU), Xi’an, China. His current research activities focus on design, characterization and application of metals and alloys, metal matrix composites, resin matrix composites, new intelligent material and so on.

        He has presided over and participated in about 40 of national key research projects such as National Natural Science Foundation of China, Basic research projects of national defense of China, National high and new technology research project of China, Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities of China, Project funded by China Postdoctoral Science Foundation and so on. He authored and co-authored about 60 scientific papers published on key journals and conference proceedings in the fields of materials science and mechanical manufacturing. More than 20 invention patents of China has been applied and authorized by him. He is the reviewer of more than thirty famous journals such as 《Composite structures》,《CompositesPart B: Engineering》,《Materials Science & Engineering A》,《Journal of Alloys and Compounds》，《Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence》,《International Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Technology》,《Journal of The Electrochemical Society》,《Journal of Reinforced Plastics and Composites》,《Neural Computing and Applications》, 《Materials Research Express》,《Journal of Materials Engineering and Performance》,《PLOS ONE》,《Rare Metals》and so on. He is the reviewer of the International Conferences of 《International Conference on Structural, Mechanical and Materials Engineering (ICSMME)》 and 《The 7th Global Conference on Materials Science and Engineering (CMSE 2018)》.

      He has participated in the research project of the National Technology Invention Award Two of China , which was honored by the State Council of People's Republic of China in the year of 2012.
