ResumeXiao Jian, Ph.D., is an associate professor, master's supervisor, and doctoral supervisor for international students. He is the head of the Intelligent Perception and System Research Team. He obtained his Ph.D. from Lanzhou University in 2008 and has been engaged in teaching and research at the School of Electronics and Control Engineering, Chang'an University since then. From 2012 to 2013, he was a publicly-funded visiting scholar at North Carolina State University, USA. In recent years, I have taught multiple courses for undergraduate automation majors and published over 30 papers in major academic journals and international conferences both domestically and abroad. I have successively undertaken various scientific research projects, including major science and technology industrialization projects in Shaanxi Province, special funds for basic scientific research business expenses of central universities, international science and technology cooperation and exchange plans in Shaanxi Province, science and technology plan projects in Xi'an City, science and technology projects for western transportation construction, scientific research collaboration with the Shaanxi Provincial Tobacco Administration, construction science and technology plan projects in Gansu Province, key research and development plans in Shaanxi Province, key research and development plans in Ningxia Autonomous Region, National Natural Science Foundation of China, and Defense Equipment Pre-research Key Laboratory Fund. In the past two years, I have guided the TI Cup National College Student Electronic Design Competition and won one national first prize, two provincial first prizes, and two second prizes. In 2023, I was awarded the title of Excellent Instructor for the TI Cup National College Student Electronic Design Competition. Currently, I am supervising sixteen graduate students in disciplines such as control science and engineering, control engineering, and electronic information, as well as three graduate students under collaborative supervision. Our laboratory has close cooperation with enterprises, and in recent years, our graduates have mainly been employed by top research institutes such as China Electronics Technology Group Corporation and the Ninth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation.
