Technological Achievements

I has been engaged in mineral exploration, resource evaluation, and searching for concealed deposit for a long time. I has presided over more than 10 national, provincial and ministerial level scientific research projects, and made new breakthroughs in mineral exploration and concealed ore body exploration. Xishanwanyangchang silver polymetallic deposit and Yelanggou zinc polymetallic deposit in the midwest, Inner Mongolia, were discovered and have achieved good economic and social benefits.

In scientific research, active practice and courage to explore, the new method of searching for concealed deposits, geoelectric extraction method technology has been improved, and the Dipole CHIM” electrified by low voltage dipole was proposed. The method and technology have obtained good application results in experimental research in Guangxi, Xinjiang, Shandong, Gansu and other places, and won the second prize of Science and Technology of China Gold Association.

Following the frontier of the discipline, focusing on scientific issues, combined with research topics, the tectonic environment, petrogenesis and prospecting prospects of the midwestern section of the northern margin of the North China Craton (NCC) are studied in depth. Research interests include: study on lithospheric thinning in the midwestern section of the northern margin of the NCC, research on volcanic rock petrogenesis, metal mineralization mechanism, etc.
